The actual paper viewing area is 11-3/4" x 21-3/4" and the entire display is 17"w x 26 1/2"h x 1 5/8"d. The cork backing allows you to use thumbtacks to hold a paper up to 1/4" thick in place. Once the unit is closed, the thumbtacks are hidden behind the mat board, which covers approximately 1/4" of the border of the page. The mat board helps highlight the page and make it more visible to customers and employees. The newspaper frame comes fully assembled and is easy to mount on a wall.
