Description

Contemporary Aluminum & Acrylic Podium

Made from a combination of quality materials this acrylic podium has a modern look unlike anything else. Created as an update to our contemporary lectern series, all of the hardware can be seen though the clear acrylic. This acrylic podium features a 3/4" thick top surface (26.75"w x 15.25"d) that is spacious enough to hold an open 3-ring binder and has a 3/4" high, 1/2" thick lip to keep notes and books from sliding off. The base (26.75"w x 14.75"d) is also manufactured from 3/4" thick clear acrylic and has four clear rubber feet, one at each corner.

This Acrylic Podium Features An Acrylic Base and Desktop Surface Construction & Beautiful Aluminum sides.The body of this acrylic podium contains a 1/2" thick clear front panel and a 1/4" thick clear back panel. The front and back panel are separated by two 3/4" thick clear spacers that run the height of the body. The acrylic podium features satin anodized aluminum sides to complete the body and hide part of the spacer on this 64lb lectern. Atop the aluminum extrusion is a mounting plate for the top shelf.

Poor customer service

Once purchased I payed over 130 for poor delivery service. I should have read the previous review but I too experienced poor delivery service. The driver refused to wait for my wife to inspect and when I call the office they refuse to send me confirmation email of my complaint. I strongly recommend others to look elsewhere before purchasing here.

Significant obvious crack.

Beautifully designed product, botched by stupidly covering the side tubes. It is now impossible to route the power and video wires from laptop down the tubes. I had previously ordered the same product. It worked perfectly. Loved it. The now useless plate which would provide access down the tubes is under the solid top (contrary to the appearance in your illustration). The side tubes do not work and it was cracked. Other than that, it's beautiful.

SHIPPING COMPANY LEFT A LOT TO BE DESIRED

I purchased two podiums. No problems with the order until it was time for them to be delivered. The delivery company called to schedule an appointment for a few days later offering no time window other than anytime time during the day. I had to take the day off to wait for it and but they never came. No call to offer any explanation or update. I had to call the next day. Customer service people are rude unhelpful and unapologetic. They told me that the appointment is never 100% guaranteed and that I should make another appointment for the podiums to be delivered. I had to speak to a supervisor and still make the appointment (Had to take another day off from work). I would have never ordered from this company had I know of the problems I would have had with delivery company.
