Customer Review for DCKDWDWN24
A highly flexible tower case
Reasonably priced and simple to assemble, these wood-frame tower cases are very flexible: the adjustable shelves can be arranged to accommodate multiple smaller artifacts, and when all the shelves are taken out, longer pieces -- items like muskets, farm tools, etc. -- fit just fine without much effort. The locking mechanism is fairly simple, so we will probably add some additional security measures, but as these will be in a location where they can be monitored by staff, I'm not too worried about it. One of the cases we received did have a side piece that was very obviously pieced together about halfway down its' length, and the joinery was not terribly elegant. But since the design of the exhibit is fairly rustic (plus these aren't all that expensive) I think it's ok and we'll live with it. Assembly can be a bit of a challenge, unless you have one tall, strong person in the crew, but it's not as bad as it could be. Just don't try to put it together without a couple of helpers.
