As a mechanical engineer, I’ve seen some poor designs in my time, and this display stand has to rank up there with the worst. For such a simple concept, there could have been a modicum of thought put into it. The height adjustment is extremely flimsy. The tightening screws in the shaft of the stand did absolutely nothing. The screws to hold down the top of the height adjustment didn’t even fit, they were too small. The swivel base was installed upside down so that the screen only swiveled upwards (who needs to swivel upwards when the screen is standing at about 6 feet?) and required a complete disassembly of the piece in order to put it right. I was able to make it work by buying the proper hardware separately, but would not recommend this stand if you don’t have any mechanical knowledge on how to disassemble/reassemble mechanical components.
