The hinges on the back of the ballot box create a gap between the box and the stand. The lock is flimsy and easy to open without a key. The acrylic stand is beautiful but the box seems more like an afterthought, it feels like the whole thing is just cobbled together from random components. We were so fixated on dealing with these design flaws to make the item work for us that we did not notice a chip in the corner of the stand. Unfortunately the packaging was disposed of before we discovered the defect.
