I ordered this 6 years ago, and it was in use 24/7 outdoors in all weather. Although the mechanics were still strong, the acrylic was yellowing, scratched and dulled, so I ordered another. It now looks very professional and up to date. You have to slide the case onto the backing until the bottom tucks into the black back, and I found it was easiest if I slid it in part way then stood it up and tapped it down gently and evenly on a table. You have to be pretty insistent with the last 1/4 inch till it snaps into space, but it's worth it. I put it on the window with the tape -- very strong and easy. Sturdy acrylic, sturdy mechanics, keeps out the rain, and beautiful!
