Color of flooring is more of a dark grey and not a black, but it is still a good color. Pieces fit together nicely and provide a nice cushion. Our tradeshow isn't for a few months, so we will see how comfortable it is after standing on it for 4 days. But . . . no matter what it's going to be better than the carpet the venue provides and certainly waaayyyy cheaper. So I'd say no matter what definitely worth the value.
