Missing pieces

On a Saturday, i sat down to assemble it. Two of the pieces are supposed to have predrilled pilot holes and they dont. The screws to attach the pieces (where those pilot holes should be) are missing. There should be 6 “A” screws and they arent anywhere to be found.

The Easel is nice and attractive. The only negative is that there was supposed to be pre drilled holes on two of the pieces and they weren’t. We had to drill the holes ourselves (it worked out well though) and I’m overall happy with the purchase.

Good Easel So Far, A few Issues Setting It Up

The Easel looks great in my living room and is working perfectly at this point. However, I ran into several issues setting it up: screws were missing and once I finished putting it together, there's still a center part of the frame that looks like it's not quite long enough. Overall, it's a solid purchase though.

I liked this easel so much that I immediately returned and bought a second one. I do displays at WWII events--some outdoors (under a canopy) and some indoors--and need a floor easel that will hold framed posters securely even with some wind. The shelf and clamp hold the artwork securely, and with some added canopy weights around the base of the 3 legs (not available on Displays2go), the easel is anchored well. I didn't think the assembly was as complicated as other reviews suggested, but it did take me approximately a half hour to accomplish the task. The instructions have no text, only diagrams, but the screws are all clearly marked, and you just have to think things through. (I could have done without the attached "Made in China" label. Note: I've attached 2 pictures showing an oversized WWII poster on display over 2 side-by-side easels with accompanying weights. Also, displays2go has great customer service, by phone and by live chat.

I wanted an easel to display a prized painting in my living room. This easel is elegant, sturdy and clamps my painting securely in place. I would recommend laying out all the pieces and doing a "mock" assembly before attaching fasteners. You need to drill six small pilot holes for screws, The brief instructions do not mention this. Still, well worth the price and assembly effort.

This easel is pretty short. Would not actually work for a big canvas - I initially thought it would be good but if you're using a big canvas you would basically have to be painting while sitting on the ground and not standing up or sitting on a chair. Not good for tall people or artists who prefer painting while standing. Do not recommend unless it's for a child or if you're looking for something not too practical. Do not purchase unless you're 100% sure. And then if you don't like it and decide to return, try purchasing a label outside the one they offer. They give you a price but then end up taking more money: So instead of getting the full refund minus the shipping, they end up taking out a little over a third of your refund.

I've bought 4 of these easels and use them in my home to display antique carved window panels from SE Asia. These carvings are about 44" x 20" x 2" thick. The easels do a great job of displaying the panels and are used only for display purposes. They are easy to assemble although the instructions can be a little confusing the first time around. I bought one, then another, and then two more. Clearly I like them! To the extent you can see them (the panels are what you see) they are clean looking and nicely finished. For the price they can't be beat. Also, I find the service from Displays2Go to be very good, excellent staff if you have any questions.

Love this easel, very durable, attractive and not so difficult to assembled ( I hate assembling things ) The quality is good and hold a pretty strong frame. It has a 2-inch lip and can be adjusted to move up and down depending on the size of the frame. Good price compared to so many that I reviewed before I made this purchase
