Great Display Sign
Have purchased many of these signs. They are signs everyone wants to borrow. Nice and classy looking.
Good initial quality, but doesn't last
Over the years we have purchased twelve (12) of the 8.5 x 11 Sign Holder for Tabletop, with Magnetic Lens, Curved - Silver. The initial quality was excellent. As mentioned by others, the artwork dimensions are larger than 8.5x11. I print to 11x17 and then trim the artwork to fit. However, of the twelve, ten (10) have had significant yellowing of the clear lenses (see attached photos). They have always been displayed indoors in climate controlled setting, never been in direct sunlight or exposed to heat, and never have had any cleaning products or chemicals applied. The magnets that hold the clear lens to the metal backing also have come detached (which wouldn't be a deal breaker, but the yellowing is). I contacted, Displays2Go, and since this product has no warranty, they said there was nothing that could be done.
The sign holder is great and appears to be very good quality. However, the size of paper that fits inside the 'frame' is actually bigger than 8.5X11.
Sleek, sturdy, heavy duty and it looks great! I've bought over 20 of these so far for our campus and they get compliments all around!
Not Correct Size as Advertised
The dimensions where media would fit in the 8.5 x 11 space is closer to 9.5 x 12.5. This is not ideal when having to reformat media traditionally printed on 8.5 x 11. It leaves almost .25 in of white space @ the top & bottom of an 8.5 x 11 page. I found myself having to print off on larger paper and cut to size (9.5 x 12.5). Otherwise, sturdy and sleek design that fits well with our decor.
Very happy with quality and color
This product was ordered to be used as a desktop memo holder for a lobby desk. We are very pleased with the color (matches other sign holders we already have) and the quality of the product. Very strudily constructed and easy to change out the memos via the magnetic flap.
