I did not like these iPad stands at all. The base was great- all steel and very supportive. However, the iPad casing was terribly designed. It was all a very cheap plastic housing. You can secure it by screwing in 8 screws from the back, as well as by popping it into place. However, once popped in, it is very difficult to pop back out. I thought I was going to break it, because again, it is all cheap plastic. Also, the advertisement says it can be a floor or counter stand. However, there was no way that I could figure out to mount the base to the part that would make it a counter stand. I was very disappointed with this purchase, and returned it within the week. Why make the iPad housing out of cheap plastic? Why advertise both floor and counter ability when it is not. Very disappointed.
Great iPad/Tablet Stand
This is a great product. The stands are easy to assemble and I love that you can use them with iPads or tablets
Using it for Insignia 10" tablet
The stand seems fine. We had to customize the foam padding very slightly to fit the Insignia. Only stand we were able to find that came close to fitting the Insignia.
Disappointed All Around
This product is clean and looks great. However, it is awkward, complicated, and time consuming to put together. Also, it is unstable and wobbles once put together. I would not buy this product again. In fact, I choose another product and am much happier.
BOOM! Just stepped it up a level
Purchased this stand for a startup event and it instantly gave our booth an extra element of professionalism that you might not expect from a new company. It was pretty easy to set up and like that it has different inserts to accommodate different sized tablets. The cover did arrive with a scratch but the customer service team sent out a replacement part in no time. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!
Sturdy and Easy to Assemble!
I purchased two for our tradeshow booth. They were easy to assemble with clear instructions. They are very contemporary and streamline which coordinates perfectly with our booth design. I like their sturdiness, so they will not be easy to knock over. The display is at a comfortable height for booth visitors to stand and view our presentation. The only issue I had was fishing the power cord through the tube. Our simple solution, tying a string around the cord and pulling it through, worked like a charm.
Good iPad / Tablet Stand
Top is plastic, stand is metal. Solid stand. Plastic does have a bit of give. 8 Screws to remove iPad.
Dang for your buck
This product shipped quickly and definitely does the job I feel like there were a few screws missing and I had to add some of my personal but other than that the product works great I don't have any issues with it it looks very nice and high quality
Great item and perfect for our application. Very solid construction and easily assembled. Arrived missing a part and customer service sent the part immediately. Received excellent customer service on the phone and live chat. Very satisfied and highly recommended.
Unstable, wobbles when typing.
While we were optimistic that a $117 tablet stand would be sufficient for our needs, the reality is it's low price comes with limited quality in it's design -you get what you pay for. First clue was with the housing bezel, very cheap plastic that feels as if someone could pry the iPad out with very little tension just with their fingers. Once we set it up, it looked just okay -not great. But once we started using it, that's when we noticed that when typing on the surface it vibrates and wobbles to the point that it's distracting to the user. Yes, we double checked the tension on all the bolts/screws.
Great concept, but could be improved
I ordered two of them. One was great and the other has had issues. Cannot get it to tighten up and remain solid. You have to be very careful when moving it. Running the lightning cables through each neck and post was very difficult because of the inner connectors and breaking it down from a floor model to a table top is not as easy as it sounds. In addition, the Ipad is completely enclosed in a case that is screwed shut, so be aware that each time you want to turn it on or off, make changes to the settings, program, etc. you have to unscrew up to 8 screws on the back. There is no home button access when it is encased. Would be great if you could put it in the case and leave it. Will definitely buy the next cases with a hinged cover and lockable devise on the unit to make it easier to access it on a regular basis.
