This works great, I love the case. Very easy to transport. I feel like the papers are a little difficult to get in and out of the slots, but it isn't terrible. My number one complaint would be that it can be hard to get it to fold up again, pulls out very easily, but the folding up again, its like it gets stuck. The only other problem we had with it is the key. I locked it and it wouldn't unlock. I messed around with it for over 5 minutes, and it finally unlocked. Not sure if it was a fluke or what. I don't have much need for the lock though, so I just won't lock it again. Overall happy, we have two of them now.
This product is great. It was nicely packaged and works wonderfully well. Due to the quality of the metal, it is heavier and the carrying case is bulky. Nonetheless, it serves its role and looks awesome. Also, the flyers and other literature can stay in the pockets when you setup/tear down. It is nice because I just take the item out of the carrying case, lift up, open the podium part, and we are ready to go. No fumbling with papers or other pieces. On a side note: when I first received this order, it was damaged. The damage was from a few screws coming loose from the podium part and jamming through the carrying case. This type of wood does not bode well when a screw comes loose and you try to put it back in. I called customer service and they were amazing. Sent me a new order immediately and were beyond amazing. This issue is a common thing that can occur when ordering items likes this with shipping. Luckily, this company knows how to take care of its customers. :)
Folding display and lecturn
Great product. I often speak to Community Groups and Organizations. Having a lecturn to use as well as doubles up as a display for items and literature - info packets, brochures, etc.
Nice but so heavy!
Nice stand, nice case. Made in China. The painted wood top shelf has taken the pattern of the convoluted foam in the top of the case, as if it was packed when non quite dry. But it's really, really heavy! Net weight 27 lbs. Was it designed for Chinese weight lifters? Why not make it out of aluminum instead of heavy gauge steel? That would make it only 10 lbs or so! There are no wheels on the case. Fine if it's being delivered to your booth or you have a wheeled dolly to haul it in and out of your conference.
I do shows where space is limited but I really need a spot for browsers/customers to sign my email list and get additional business information. This stand does it all! Table top has slide bars to add support. The compartments are great for flyers and the design of the "air holes" allows me to attach my business card holder and even hang product samples. Easily set up anywhere and fits in limited spaces. Top is plenty large enough to amply hold a laptop or full size binder. Sturdy, comfortable height, will not fall over when bumped and folds up quick and easy. Very nice carrying case. Hands down the best portable stand I have found.
Does the Job
The stand is being used as part of our smaller trade shows and worked very well for combining a small demo station and a literature holder, so valuable floor space is not taken up by too many cluttered area.
