Great mount for certain uses

We used this to hang 75: TV's from wooden beams in a church sanctuary. They worked as advertised - with a minor exception. They were very easy to mount - the drop is easily adjustable (we have it at it's shortest) and it does indeed turn a full 360 degrees. The swing on the ceiling part has lots of range for different angles of any kind. It's quality built. The only issue we had was the wire holes in the pole are on the small size - we wanted to run a three headed extension cord down the pole for the power for the tv and the hdmi extender - instead of using the holes we had to fish it down the pipe. Not a big deal - and in our case the mount could not be configured where the wire holes were rearward facing - it's dark up there at the top so you can't see it and the lower holes are behind the TV's so - it isn't that big of a deal, just run BLACK WIRES! our cat 6 was BLUE! - It was a great mount - a great price - and other than just some minor hiccups it was a beautiful install.

The title of this says it all. I have a 65" Samsung LED that I wanted to mount but hesitated doing it myself on my plaster wall. I received quotes ranging from $250-$350 just to hang it. I wanted to move it from a different room which I mounted myself on drywall. In the room I moved it to, I have an exposed ceiling so mounting it would be a piece of cake expect for that it's 11' high. All the ceiling mounts I looked at only hung around 20"-30" and that wasn't enough. I found this mount with it's long extension. In total, it probably took my 30 minutes to hang. Let me tell you...I couldn't be more pleased with it. Great quality on the mount so I felt comfortable knowing my TV isn't going to come crashing down. It only came in black so I painted it white to blend in with the wall. This thing is exactly what I needed. Great product!!!

Distance from ceiling height misleading

I ordered 3 of these, they came quickly and are nice brackets. However, I ordered because the specifications said the distance from the ceiling was 50.5" to 70.5". I assumed this was to the center of the TV as this seams to be the industry standard for this measurement. All the other brackets I looked at actually specified that this measurement was to the center of the TV bracket. For this model, the center of the TV to the ceiling is 40.5" to 60.5". I wanted 72" (70.5" was close enough) so now it is about 12" off of what I need. I don't want to go through the hassle of returning, so I will make it work.

The only negative was that, with the shortest possible configuration of the mount, the center of the TV was 43" from the ceiling and the top of the TV was 29" from the ceiling. I would prefer to reduce that by 12-14".
