Unfortunately, this item came in broken pieces. Still waiting to hear back from company.
Received the bins on Friday and the stand today. As I am putting it together two of the bins were broken to where I had to fix them myself. Looks like its made and painted in a garage somewhere.
I was very disappointed with the craftsmanship of the product. The wood is very rough and a few of the bins were chipped in places and have detached with the nails visible. Had I reached into the box to remove the bins without looking I could have cut myself on the exposed nails. I will be reaching out to the company for a replacement on the bins as this is unacceptable.
We received this fixture with 2 of the bins broken. I reached out a week ago for assistance and haven’t heard back. Will update review if they make it right. For $170 and it breaking during shipment, doesn’t bode well for the quality in my opinion
Love the look
Purchased two units to see how they would look in our café, after the first two arrived realized they were the perfect look for our dinning area. We added two additional units and a four-tier basket unit for our fruit. Over all have been very pleased with the functionality and look of the units.
Works wonderful as a merchandiser. Bins are larger than they appear in the photo. Would recommend.
Very fast shipping. Great product for the price. Looks awesome in our toy area, perfect merchandiser for gadgets and other smaller items.
Rough / Poor Craftsmanship
The frame had been recently painted and must have been put in the box wet as cardboard was stuck to the parts. The painting was done poorly to the point that most of the pieces had runs and drips on them. Although it was an easy fix one of the sides had not been predrilled. Overall with the price of the item I would have expected that the craftsmanship would have been substantially better, it should have been a $50 item.
A bit rough - needed some work before we could use it
The 'rustic' description doesn't quite describe how rough finished they are. These boxes are heavy and will hold some good weight, but they are not just 'unfinished' pine, they didn't even get a rough sanding down before packaging. We needed to really sand them down, and glue a few heavy splintered parts before I felt they were ready to go to the showroom floor. .There were quite a few unpainted spots on the black legs, which we will touch up with paint ourselves. The bottoms of the crates are not completely solid - they are made of 2x4's nailed across the crate bottom - and there are a few gaps that aren't evident in the product photos online. (We plan to put shelf liner in the bottom so small bits don't fall through.)
Quality is good for the price. We purchased to place in our Grab N Go food section. Perfect for small bags of chips, cookies & snacks. Bins are a little deep for small items to display so we stacked product and may need to fill in with material to create a false bottom. Very attractive and I think it is shopper friendly.
I needed something for a vendor / craft event and thought this would work. While it is a bit more rustic then I had hoped for it will work. It was easy to put together (no instructions but really not required). I suggest you don't tighten the screws for the horizontal bars until they are all on. Then you can tighten them up. The boxes are all unfinished pine, with knots, etc. (one box has a hole where the knot fell out) and the grain of the wood is visible through the paint / stain on the base. While it said it wouldn't ship for 15 days it came a lot faster than I thought.
