Ordered this for our new church start-up. Used on of these previously and was pleased with the construction of it. Unfortunately, the packaging wasn't up to the abuse from the carrier. I don't blame the shipping company, really. All four corners of the book rest had the paint chipped off when the lightweight styrofoam broke up. One of the box corner reinforcement strips was broken off. This damage wasn't enough to cause me to refuse shipment. A replacement wouldn't fare any better. Just disappointed I have to repair the damage.

Beautiful podium, and very sturdy. In our case, we will be moving it occasionally between venues in our building, and it is definitely heavy and a bit awkward to move. An option for locking wheels would make this a 5 star item (unless you don't need to move it, then I'd give it 5 stars).

The one we receive was not only curved like it was supposed to be, but also was twisted a bit. The top and base were not square to each other. You can really see the twist when it is laid on its front or back on the floor. Fortunately, they’re going to send out a replacement. Other than the twist, we like it.
