Okay but NOT STURDY AT ALL
Okay product. The only thing that isn't great is that there is nothing to hold the two poles together which makes it extremely wobbly (they're NOT a tight fit) and almost unsafe to have at our store (lots of little kids running around). I'm sure we can use something to make it stronger, just wish it came with something or they made them have a tighter fit; especially for what they cost.
It's Just Okay
Overall, the product looks very nice in our facility, however it is not sturdy. The middle bar is made of two pieces that do not fasten all that well, so the whole stack is a bit wobbly. Also, I was a bit disappointed that the base of the stand is made of plastic, and seems like it would crack very easily if something heavy were to knick it.
I love this rack. It puts all of the books and patterns in one place and it is easier for the customers too.
Exactly What I Hoped For!
Music teacher here and ordered this magazine rack for our music books. Had searched and searched for just the right kind of stand for the space and book size, and this totally fit the bill! Customer service was stellar as well as product. Very happy and highly recommend Displays2Go!
I like these racks but the listing is misleading
The listing says "wire (metal) magazine rack but the bases are light plastic (not metal) making these racks top heavy. My suggestion to the manufacturer is make the bases heavy metal so they don't tip over when filled with magazines. Alan
This thing is great
I am really satisfied with the looks and quality of this spinner; as well as the price. I got it in 3 days after placing the order, assembly was relatively quick and easy (aside from the missing instructions, which can be found online, and a missing step in the instructions manual, which is intuitive). People who complain about this being wobbly must have assembled it the wrong way. It fits comic books in toploaders easily; 4-5 toploaders per pocket. If I had the room for it I'd buy another.
Comic book spinner rack
Excellent comic spinner rack. Very sturdy and spins great on ball bearings. Great buy and will calm the itch until one from the 60's shows up.
Comic book fans take notice!
Before splurging on one of those vintage comic book racks (usually about $800), consider this rack: It gets the job done and it's only a fraction of the price. For the cherry on top, consider a metal sign featuring one of your favorite issues!
Comic Book Rack
Extremely affordable piece and holds up really well. I am presently using it in my comic book shop. I may buy another...
Magazine display rack
Product holds lots of magazines and rotates easily for viewing. Assembly very simple.
I bought this to use for student "mailboxes" in my classroom. I have 34 students on my roll and this rack with its 36 slots fit the ill perfectly. It is reasonably priced, easy to assemble, and serves its purpose well.
The instructions were a little hard to understand. Does the job
Rotating 36-Pocket Rack ROCKS!
This item instantly organized an entire room of marketing into a well contained area. Everything is visible and easy for my salespeople to grab on the go. My documents are organized and protected. There is no chance of them falling out of the holders or being damaged. I was worried the pockets would not be deep enough to hold much collateral but I was WRONG! I have room left over. There is a lot of weight associated with that much paper so I was concerned with them being un-sturdy. Not at all! Once loaded evenly, they rotate with ease and are very stable. My delivery even occurred quicker than I expected and everything was so well packaged there was no possibility of damaged product. I could not be happier. Thank you!
Worried, but Hoping for the Best...
I am satisfied with everything but the base. It was easy to assemble - no tools required - loved that! But prior to ordering, when I read the description stating, "This magazine rack is fabricated from durable, black coated wire to withstand any busy environment." I took for granted that the base was metal as well, but it's not. It's plastic and as such not as durable as I was expecting. I'm a middle school teacher using this in my classroom and middle schools can be rowdy environments at times, so I'm worried it's going to get broken. I put the pole collars on as instructed, but it's still a little wobbly. I'm worried that with wear and tear it's going to become more wobbly and the base will crack/break. I phoned customer service to find out if metal bases are an option or if there is any type of warranty and was told they offer neither. So, a little disappointed, but pleased with everything else. Looks great in my classroom and holds a lot of magazines.
Works perfectly and Holds magazines very solidly
