What is D2G Group's vision for inclusion and diversity? Our vision is of a company culture that recognizes, respects, and values the differences and strengths that each team members unique personal characteristics and life experiences bring. We must be a company where everyone feels a sense of belonging, where fair treatment is the standard, and where access to opportunities is equal for all. We will continue to capitalize on the energy and creativity our differences provide and together focus those forces to drive the customer centric performance that we all value. It means creating an environment where everyone feels welcomed, where different life experiences and perspectives are valued. Diversity, equity, inclusion are more than just words to D2G. They are the standards that guide how we shape our teams, develop leaders, our teammates, and how we build a workplace that reflects every person inside of it. To me, equity means recognizing the systematic issues that affect marginalized communities and providing them the support they need so that they can have a seat at the table. Translated – When you work in a healthy and cooperative environment, the results will always be to the benefit of the whole. Inclusion in the workplace is feeling a sense of belonging and acceptance, regardless of your race, your beliefs, your handicaps, and I'm so proud to say that I work for a company that does just that. Equity is about each of us getting what we need to succeed based on who we are and who we want to become. Not only are these principles important to pursue because they're morally and ethically right, but my experience shows that they're a core component to our performance as well. Equity to me is about tearing down the fence and removing systematic barriers, exploring the unconscious bias within myself and tearing out the roots. A team's diverse experiences and backgrounds allow the opportunity for a new perspective and ideas to develop. But none of that means anything if we don't have equity and inclusion in place. And from a product standpoint, I think that this diversity allows us to develop and bring to market products that have a more global appeal. We apply different approaches, different points of view. We believe diversity drives innovation. We've worked really hard to foster a culture where difference is really valued. It's to give the opportunity for everyone to have a voice and for that voice to be equally strong and impactful. Equity is the process of us all reaching our full potential. All of our team members need to feel supported and encouraged to be themselves every day. DEI is not a checkbox exercise for D2G. We understand our DEI journey is a long-term commitment and gains will be gradual. But our goal is to see these gains sustain themselves and then simply become our norms. D2G is for everyone.
