The PT staircase is manufactured entirely in-house by experienced production engineers using only high-quality materials. Following strict industry-recommended guidelines, the PT rehab stairs follow the exact dimensions intended to accurately simulate the real-life practice of going up and down stairs, small steps, curbs, and other activities that require bending and straightening the knee and legs. The physical therapy stairs offer 30" of width to provide ample space to introduce canes, crutches, and other mobility aid tools into the exercise. In addition, the PT steps have a high maximum weight capacity to safely accommodate two people on the stairs at one time or bariatric patients.

Our physical therapy rehab stairs include two sides offering different height steps for targeting different rehabilitation exercises. One side features three 4" H steps intended for introductory knee strength rehabilitation exercises, the smaller steps allowing the patient to ease into the motion without causing too much pain. As recovery and rehabilitation continue, the other side of the PT stairs, features two traditional 6" steps, to more closely simulate the real-life motion. Large extra strength grip safety treads prevent accidental slips during use. In addition, the anti-slip material adds a protective layer to the hardwood plywood to prevent scuffs and scratches due to constant use. The handrails are treated with a smoothing agent that provides a comfortable grip and also withstands disinfecting liquids and hand moisture and perspiration.
